2008 Medical Alumni Weekend

The University of Utah School of Medicine Alumni Association held its 2008 Medical Alumni and Community Weekend September 4-6, 2008. The weekend included the Annual Alumni Awards Banquet, School of Medicine Department Events, Class Reunion Evenings, an intriguing Continuing Medical Education on Health Care Reform, a Tailgating BBQ, and the U of U versus UNLV Football game. Thank you to all those who participated and made the weekend a wonderful success and a good time for all involved. Mark your calendars now to participate again next year the weekend of September 17-19, 2008.
Annual Alumni Awards Banquet
On Thursday, September 4, 2008, the School of Medicine Alumni Association held its Annual Alumni Awards Banquet and 50 Year Celebration. The Distinguished Alumni Award went to Dr. Harmon J. Eyre, '66 and the Distinguished Service Award was given to The Spencer Stoddard and Hope Fox Eccles Family. That same evening, the Class of 1958 was honored and inducted into the Half-Century Club.
