My research focuses on the diagnostic tools used in the evaluation of Cerebral Vasospasm. I study CT Perfusion (CTP) and CT Angiograms (CTA) and their efficacy in diagnosing symptomatic vasospasm. CTP and CTA are noninvasive procedures that eliminate the potential complications associated with DSA (digital substraction angiography). The primary objective of my research is to determine whether CTP or CTA could be used as a noninvasive, reliable, and accurate diagnostic study to diagnose clinical cerebral vasospasm in symptomatic patient.
