Education

The Department of Dermatology aims to exemplify excellence in clinical training, academic achievement, and diversity in an inclusive, collaborative environment. While our primary focus is on providing an integrated dermatology curriculum and allergy/immunology curriculum to our medical students, residents, allied health professional students, and fellows, our educational activities are broad and far reaching. Our trainees and faculty support community sun safe programs for children, case-based learning series for primary care providers, and continuing medical education symposium both regionally and globally. With the expansion of fellowships in Pediatric Dermatology and Allergy & Immunology, we will better be able to meet the educational and clinical needs of a diverse and growing population.

Vice Chair of Education

Sarah Cipriano, MD.

“Education is very much at the core of what we do.  Training the next generation of dermatologists not only serves our future patients but also puts into perspective, each and every day, our commitment to the pursuit of lifelong learning.”
