Ben Crookston, PhD


Ben Crookston, PhDBenjamin Crookston currently works as a visiting instructor and biostatistical consultant at the University of Utah in the Division of Public Health in addition to working as the associate director of the Office of Global Health. He holds degrees in public health and zoology from Brigham Young University, where he also serves as part-time faculty instructing classes in research methods and international health.

Benjamin’s research interests largely focus on child survival epidemiology in the developing world. He has carried out research in Ghana, Cambodia, India, South Africa and the White Mountain Apache Reservation. Benjamin is presently completing coursework for a doctoral degree in public health at the University of Utah and anticipates graduating in the Spring of 2009.
