Family and Preventive Medicine

Bernadette Kiraly, MD

Birnadette KiralyWas raised in the San Francisco Bay area and attended California State University, Chico where she majored in psychology. She received her medical degree from Albany Medical College and graduated from the University of Utah Family Medicine Residency program in 1999. Before joining the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine faculty in January 2003, she practiced at the University Hospital and Redwood Center Clinic. Her work at the Redwood Clinic inspired an interest in refugee health care. Her current professional focus is the clinical practice at the Sugarhouse Family Health Center where she enjoys teaching medical students, physician assistants and residents. Other special interests are obstetrics, women's health, pediatrics and preventive health care.
