Karly Pippitt, MD
Dr. Karly Pippitt was born and raised in Twin Falls, Idaho. She and her husband, Rich, met at College of Idaho. They both attended medical school at the University of Utah, where Karly served as class co-president. Karly completed her Family Medicine residency training at the University of Utah where she also served as Chief Resident. She was recruited onto the faculty in Family Medicine in August of 2009, to help implement a new integrated medical school curriculum, focusing her efforts on clinical medicine education for first and second year students. In addition to her teaching roles in the medical school, Dr. Pippitt also maintains a full spectrum clinical practice at Sugarhouse and teaches clinical medicine within the Family Medicine Residency. Her clinical interests include OB, women¹s health, and preventive care. Her personal interests include reading, scuba diving, hiking, swimming, cooking, and baking a fabulous fruit cobbler.
