Peter Weir, MD, MPH
Grew up in Lafayette, California and attended the University California at Santa Barbara. He went to medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin and graduated in 2000. He completed his Family Medicine residency and a Faculty Development Fellowship here at the University of Utah. Currently he is writing his thesis to complete a Masters of Science in Public Health. His clinical interests are evidence based medicine, mental health, and underserved medicine. He helps coordinate refugee health care screenings at the Hartland Apartments. His areas of responsibility are the Family Medicine Service, and the Cardiology and Dermatology rotations. He is an enthusiastic cyclist and dad. He serves on the Family Medicine Residency Curriculum Committee.
