Title: Academic Program ManagerJess manages the daily aspects of Medical Student Education for the Family Medicine Division. This includes the 3rd year clerkship, as well as the 4th year Sub-Internship and other 3rd and 4th year electives. She obtains and manages all adjunct faculty appointments for preceptors as well as affiliation agreements with clinical sites. Jess oversees the scholarly activities as well as grants and research for the division. She also coordinates all FMIG (Family Medicine Interest Group) activities. She has a bachelor’s in Psychology and is currently enrolled in the Masters of Public Administration program here at the U.
Title: Associate Director, HealthcareHolly oversees the department’s clinical strategies and operations and directs administration for the Division of Family Medicine. Holly earned her MBA at the University of Utah. Before her employment with the University, she worked at Select Health for 10 years managing insurance plans and benefit adjunction operations. Holly joined University Health Care in 2005, where she has worked in project management, decision support, nursing finance, and research administration.
Title: Academic CoordinatorAnnie is an academic coordinator providing support for the Family Medicine Residency and OB Fellowship. She oversees the coordination of Grand Rounds, CQM, retreats, orientation and recruitment. She also provides backup support to Jen Mair in handling HR support, accreditation submission and dashboard maintenance. Annie is currently a student at the University of Utah and is passionate about creative writing and fitness.
Title: PA-CShaun Curran, PA-C is a family medicine physician assistant who welcomes patients of all ages. Shaun completed his Bachelors of Engineering in Occupational Safety and Health from Montana Tech, and completed his Masters of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Utah Physician Assistant Program. His current practice is centered between both the Sugarhouse Clinic and Madsen Clinic. Shaun has a broad interest in medicine, with main interests in preventive care, cardiology, and urology. He was born and raised in Butte, MT and enjoys his spare time skiing, golfing, playing tennis, spending time outdoors, and learning american history.
Jason KiddeJason Kidde is a graduate from the University of Utah Physician Assistant program in 2012. Following completion of his physician assistant degree, he worked within the emergency department at Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City, and as a family practice PA in the north country of New Hampshire. He is happy to be back in Utah where he enjoys cycling, skiing and getting outdoors with his family. Jason also holds a masters degree in exercise physiology and is a firm believer in exercise as medicine. He would be happy to work with you to implement exercise for disease control and prevention, helping with training programs, and addressing overuse injuries.
Title: PA-CLance M. Linscott, MPAS, PA-C, is a nationally certified physician assistant who specializes in preventive medicine and family practice. He received a bachelor’s degree in health education and promotion and went on to earn his masters in physician assistant studies, both from the University of Utah. Prior to becoming a physician assistant he was an EMT at ARUP Laboratories Family Health Clinic for 7 years. He enjoys spending time with his family and participating in outdoor activities such as fly-fishing, camping, and rock climbing. Lance is currently welcoming new patients.
Title: ManagerRita oversees the day to day operations of the division, including Medical Student Education and the Family Medicine Residency programs. She is responsible for financials, payroll, CIP, faculty recruitment, and human resources. Rita has earned certificates in Leadership and Management, Finance and Accounting, Administration, and Human Resources Management. She previously worked for the School of Medicine Dean’s Office as the Director of Medical Education/ Curriculum. She has been with the department since 2011.
Title: Academic Program ManagerJen is the manager for the Family Medicine Residency and Obstetrics Fellowship. In this role, she oversees the day-to-day functions of the residency program including schedules, evaluation of residents/faculty, maintaining resident files, etc. Additionally, Jen oversees the program accreditation process, recruitment, orientation, updating specialty boards, assists with curricular changes, and maintains the policy and procedure manuals for the residency program. She has a BS in Health Society and Policy and Psychology.
Title: Administrative Manager, ClinicalBecky is the administrative manager of clinical programs in the Division of Family Medicine. She oversees faculty clinic schedules, including call and OB, faculty dashboards and policies and procedures. She works with the PCMH, APC, Insomnia and SEE groups and assists with community outreach and Million Heart efforts. Becky joined the University of Utah in 1998 and has over 15 years experience in higher education. She received her Bachelor of Science in Family and Human Development from Utah State University.
Title: Administrative AssistantRachel provides administrative support to the division. She coordinates meetings between residents and faculty, maintains resident files, provides training verifications, makes travel arrangements, assists faculty with project planning and development, and performs general office duties. She has a BA in Humanities from Brigham Young University, and plans to pursue a MS in International Affairs and Global Enterprise at the University of Utah.
