Isabella is an Administrative Manager in the Division of Public Health and is the Associate Director for the Utah Area Health Education (AHEC) Program.  Her efforts include projects related to the integration of Public Health, specifically focusing on connecting populations to appropriate health resources. She is also involved in supporting research initiatives for the department.  Isabella earned her Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Utah.

Tatiana handles protocol oversight, regulatory affairs, enrollment, data capture, and management. She ensures Good Clinical Practice and SOP compliance for the division's research studies. Additionally, she serves as the Clinical Coordinator for AHEC and facilitates clinical training opportunities for students of all health-related disciplines in most of Utah's rural communities. Tatiana has 14 years of experience at the University of Utah and is a Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP).

Crystal is the Special Events Coordinator in the Continuing Education program. Her responsibilities include office and on-site coordination and support of the day to day activities associated with numerous and various continuing education programs. She is directly involved with assisting and monitoring OSHA-approved outreach trainers through the Mountain West OSHA Education Center. Crystal has been with the department since 2010.

Jessica helps manage and maintain adjunct faculty appointments, faculty CVs, hospital encounters, and resident reports for the division. Her duties include providing medical student education support and meeting support for the EPIC workgroup and resident business meetings. Jessica has a BS in Psychology from Weber State University.

Jesse Bliss manages the Disaster Public Health program within the Division of Public Health. Jesse earned his MPH from Loma Linda University School of Public Health and is currently a Public Health PhD student. As former Assistant Dean and Executive Director for the Office of Public Heath Practice at Loma Linda, Jesse is experienced in applied public health community-engaged education, research and practice.

Tom provides support for Mac, PC, networking resources, printers, and office equipment in the division. He trains users on an individual basis to help troubleshoot their tech issues. Additionally, he has created solutions to record the Rocky Mountain Center’s Masters level classes in an online format for professional and high-quality classes and is in the process of creating an online format for all of the Center’s classes. Tom has an MDiv from the Salt Lake Theological Seminary, a BA in Multimedia Arts and Sciences and 20 years of experience working with Information Technology.

Larry maintains department computing resources and oversees all IT related matters for the department. He provides for secure network access to department, campus, and internet sources. As a mathematician with a minor in physics, he began programming at Hill Air Force Base in 1980 and has worked with the University since the 80s as a LAN Manager and Database Programmer, along with Desktop and Server Manager.

Title:  Executive Secretary and Residency Program Coordinator

Karen provides administrative support for the residency program. Her duties include assisting with recruitment of applicants, matriculation of candidates, and management of resident activities through the duration of the residency as well as after graduation. Additionally, Karen documents and reports on the ACGME and RMCOEH grant program requirements and arranges the Residency Advisory Committee meetings and communicates residency activities with occupational health professionals in the community. Karen has an Associate Degree and has been with the department since 1995.

Alicen directs the research initiatives for the division and oversees the administration and management of the division operations. Her responsibilities include participating in the department leadership committees and assisting the department chair, chiefs, and administration in planning and implementing strategic initiatives and goals for the department. Alicen has 15 years of related experience to her position and has worked for the University since 2002. She received her Master of Public Administration from the University of Utah.

Holly oversees the department’s clinical strategies and operations and directs administration for the Division of Family Medicine. Holly earned her MBA at the University of Utah. Before her employment with the University, she worked at Select Health for 10 years managing insurance plans and benefit adjunction operations. Holly joined University Health Care in 2005, where she has worked in project management, decision support, nursing finance, and research administration.

Toni has been with the department since 2006.

Catherine oversees all administrative functions for the department, its four associated divisions, and the Institute for Healthcare Transformation. Her responsibilities include, but are not limited to, strategic planning, negotiation and management, budget control and preparation, clinical enterprise, human resources, and development. She has been in this role since 2012 and has worked in health care and education management since 1990. Catherine obtained her Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Utah.

Connie manages the Continuing Education Program for the Rocky Mountain Center which conducts over 150 courses per year that contribute significantly to the financial health of the division. She ensures that the courses support the mission of providing timely and relevant continuing education programs to industrial hygienists, occupational health nurses, safety professionals and occupational medicine physicians. Connie has an MA in English, an MBA, and has worked with the department since 1985.

Meghan is responsible for helping coordinate and process paperwork for students in the division. She acquires and maintains legal contracts with clinical sites, hospitals, and private practices. Additionally, she maintains multiple databases, clinical rotation sites, preceptor information, student schedules, and student credentialing information. Meghan graduated with a Bachelor of Sociology from Weber State University and has worked in the medical community for several years.

As Director of Admissions for the PA program, Doris is responsible for applicant advising and the development and implementation of admissions policies and processes. She earned her Master of Public Adminstration at the University of Utah, and joined the program in 2005. In addition, she serves as a member of the Recruitment and Admissions Council of the Physician Assistant Education Association, and chairs the Enhancements Committee for the national Central Application Service for Physician Assistants, CASPA.

Melissa has a BS and over 10 years of experience in higher education.

Additionally, Mandy oversees the scheduling of rooms 124, 125, and 126, and provides support for Wasatch Community Gardens, The Refugee Fair, CQI Teams, Resident Program Director Reviews, Curriculum Committee and Division Meetings. Mandy has a BA in Psychology and has spent 10 years working in various positions within education.

She has a BS in Health Society and Policy and Psychology. She previously worked as the Academic Coordinator overseeing residency didactics.

In this role, Cami manages academic matters and governance issues as they relate to the department’s position within the School of Medicine and the University of Utah. Additionally, she monitors and coordinates the FARA (Faculty Appointment, Review, and Advancement) process for departmental faculty. Cami joined the University of Utah’s College of Nursing in 2008 and the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine in 2013.

She collaborates with the other divisions via faculty support and project management to facilitate exceptional education and synergy within the department. Marian has a BA with an emphasis in research and writing and was previously a research assistant and tutor at Westminster College.

Julie oversees multiple databases utilized by the program to track and organize clinical schedules, rotation site and preceptor information, and evaluation processes.
