Science Power
Young women building a positive self image and promoting a good self esteem through educational activities.
Participants
6th Grade-9th Grade Girls
About the Program
Science Power began as a campus partnership to encourage young women to continue pursuing their interests in science. Unlike our other outreach programs, Science Power includes activities beyond just health science such as engineering, physics, math, botany, chemistry, biology, etc.
Women students volunteer as team leaders for students divided by grade levels. Each team participates in activities during the monthly sessions, which end in a celebration of team and individual accomplishments.
If you are interested in the program, please fill out a Registration Form.
