Day of the Dead

The Day of the Dead Premedical Enrichment Program, offered each fall, is an informative educational spin on the traditional Mexican holiday "Dia de los Muertos."

This program is FREE and designed to give underrepresented students in medicine and students of color the opportunity to learn more about a career in medicine.

The all-day seminar offers information about admissions policies, procedures, requirements, personal statement writing, the AMCAS application, and interviewing skills.

Medical students hold a student experiences panel and give participants a tour of the Anatomy Lab - hence the 'Day of the Dead' theme. The DCO office also provides follow-up advising for participants needing additional information or support.
