Carol is an Ogden , Utah girl. She attended Weber State University for her ADN (1979) and BSN (1989). Carol worked as an RN in ER and ICU for 17 years before attending the New Britain School of Nurse Anesthesia in Connecticut. She also taught in the Paramedic and Nursing program's at Weber State University. She graduated from the CRNA program in 1997. She worked as a CRNA at the New Britain Hospital for a short time before returning to Utah. She has worked at the University of Utah as a CRNA since. Carol is currently one of two Chief CRNA's. She looks forward to being part of the continued development and growth of the care team model at the U. She has loved her career in anesthesia.

Carol's greatest love is her family. Her husband, Curtis, two boys and two girls. She has been lucky enough to gain another daughter and two sons through her children's marriages. Grandma is the best “gig" yet. She is Grandma to 9 grandchildren with one on the way. When she isn't working or with her family she enjoys anything active…skiing, hiking, biking, swimming, OTF. She loves to do these things with her family when she can coerce them into joining her. If they can't be convinced she enlists her friends, a group of amazing women!
