Academic Bio

Dr. Ganesh Kumpati is Assistant Professor in Surgery, Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery. He has research interests in innovative endovascular therapies and mechanisms of aortic disease. Dr. Kumpati also has significant interest in resident, medical student, and allied health education. He has significant experience in both surgical and endovascular management of aortic disease, including endovascular aneurysm repair. Prior to joining the University of Utah in August 2011, Dr. Kumpati was in private practice for five years in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
