Tenured Faculty Appeals Committee
The tenured faculty appeals committee is composed of:
- three tenured faculty members (two elected by college council, one appointed by the dean)
- two non-tenured regular faculty members (one elected by college council, one appointed by the dean)
Terms are three years and appointed and elected on a staggered basis.
This committee meets only when there is a disagreement between a faculty member, department chair, or department TFR committee regarding the final tenured faculty review (TFR). The committee's charge is to determine if the process fair and carried out according to policy, not to give an independent evaluation.
