Department Chair Participation in RPT Departmental Meetings

  • The department chair may attend and participate in official RPT departmental faculty meeting, if the departmental faculty members [approve by a 2/3-majority vote.
  • The department chair cannot vote at this meeting.
  • If the departmental faculty wishes, they can vote to go into executive session and exclude all non-eligible faculty members. See Policy and Procedures 9-5.1, Section 2.B.5. Limitations.
