General Cardiologists
The University of Utah seeks two BE/BC faculty members with at least one year of post fellowship experience and interest in a clinical academic career, including bedside teaching, clinical care, clinical research and other scholarly activities. He/she must be thoroughly trained in general cardiology with preferences for additional training in diagnostic cardiac catheterization, nuclear cardiology, and adult congenital heart disease. Duties will include general cardiology clinics, inpatient general cardiology and coronary care service, consultative cardiology and rotations in echocardiography and diagnostic catheterization. Candidate must also be qualified to serve in the affiliated Veterans Administration Medical Center. Interventional Cardiologists
The University of Utah seeks two BE/BC interventional cardiologists, with peripheral interventional training and/or experience. We perform over 600 PCIs annually at both the University of Utah hospital and the adjacent Salt Lake City VA Hospital. The ideal candidate would be Board Eligible/Certified in Interventional Cardiology, interested in teaching general and interventional cardiology fellows, and participating in clinical research. Cardiac Imaging and General Cardiologist
The University of Utah seeks a BE/BC academic Cardiac Imaging and General Cardiologist. Applicants should be skilled in cardiac imaging, noninvasive testing including cardiac MRI or CT, Echocardiography and TEE. Nuclear skills helpful. Job will focus on cardiovascular imaging. Other duties may include inpatient/CCU, consult service and outpatient clinic. Diagnostic catheterization possible. Position will likely include clinical work at the fully integrated, adjacent Salt Lake City VAMC.
