ADRIAMYCIN
	Generic Name:	Doxorubicin
	Possible Uses:	A chemotherapy drug.
	Side Effects:	Decreased blood counts, temporary hair loss, mouth sores, loss of appetite, flu-like symptoms, heart damage, breathing difficulties, swelling in legs and feet, rash, itching, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. May cause temporary orange or red color in urine and secretions (tears, mucous).

ALLOPURINOL
	Generic Name:	Allopurinol
	Possible Uses:	Decreases uric acid that is released when chemotherapy drugs kill tumor cells, protects against kidney damage. Also decreases gout.
	Side Effects:	Fever, chills, drowsiness, nausea vomiting, increased liver function tests, and rash. Rarely, causes a severe rash that progresses to severe burn-like condition called Stevens-Johnson syndrome. May decrease blood cell counts.

AMOXICILLIN
	Generic Name:	Amoxicillin
	Possible Uses:	Prevent or treat bacterial infections.
	Side Effects:	Diarrhea, rash, nausea, and vomiting. If patient is allergic, may cause rash, swelling, breathing difficulties. May also cause a superinfection such as vaginal fungal infection.
	Drug Interactions:	May decrease the effectiveness of oral contraceptives and increase the effects of anticoagulants such as warfarin or Coumadin¨.

AMPHOTERICIN B
	Generic Name:	Amphotericin B
	Possible Uses:	Prevent or treat fungal infections.

DECADRON
	Generic Name:	Dexamethasone
	Possible Uses:	Decrease inflammation, allergic reactions, nausea, vomiting. In allogeneic transplantation, used to prevent or treat graft-versus-host disease.
	Side Effects:	Fluid retention, weight gain, increased blood sugars, increased blood pressure, restlessness, anxiety, trouble sleeping, increased appetite, indigestion, mood changes, acne, thinning of the skin, muscle cramps, dark stools, increased risk of fungal infection.

DEMEROL
	Generic Name:	Meperidine
	Possible Uses:	Relieve moderate to severe pain, relieve or prevent chills caused by platelet transfusions or amphotericin B.

If patient is allergic, may cause swollen face, throat or lips, breathing difficulties. If infused too quickly, may cause a flushing and reddening of the skin. This is known as 'red man's syndrome' and is not an allergic reaction.
