- Return to work: Patients may expect to return to work part-time six months or more after transplant. Occasional work environments
- Please discuss your plan with your transplant physician prior to returning to work.
- Sun Exposure: Always use sunscreen SPF= 15%, wear a hat, long sleeve shirt and pants.
- Child vaccinations: avoid or delay vaccinations with live viruses: MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) and oral polio
- Avoid contact with a child receiving the oral polio vaccine for 7 days
- Avoid contact with a child receiving the MMR vaccination for 72–96 hours
