Don Delker, PhD

Don Delker, PhD, is a research assistant professor in the Department of Gastroenterology at the University of Utah, School of Medicine. He is also a member of the Gastrointestinal Cancers Program at the Huntsman Cancer Institute.

Don's work focuses on the characterization of the human transcriptome in the normal and diseased tissues. He is currently working to identify genes involved in the development of hyperplastic polyposis, a cancer syndrome. Don has over 10 years experience in genomics technologies and bioinformatics. Prior to joining the University of Utah in 2008, Don was a Branch Chief in the Environmental Carcinogenesis Division at the US Environmental Protection Agency.
