The University of Utah Health Care Thrombosis Service, in cooperation with Intermountain Health Care Department of Medicine, will host the second Biennial Western Regional Thrombosis Symposium and Working Group Session on Thursday, April 26 and Friday, April 27, 2012 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
 
The purpose of this one and a half-day scientific and academic medical conference is to foster consensus building and collaboration among multidisciplinary Western Regional leaders, and to encourage scientific discovery and medical education with regard to thrombosis diagnosis, treatment, and prevention in both clinical and research practices and health professional and public education and outreach.
