Location
The conference will be held at the Zermatt Resort, located in Midway's scenic Heber Valley less than an hour from the Salt LakeCity International Airport. The Zermatt Resort is a charming "swiss inspired" alpine village where you will enjoy authentic european architecture, exquisite artwork and breathtaking Wasatch Mountain views. It is known for its luxurious accommodations, celebrated dining and outdoor adventures.

Transportation and Driving Directions
Driving directions: from the Salt Lake City International Airport, take I-80 east towards Cheyenne. Stay on I-80 east through Salt Lake and up to the Park City area. Take Hwy 40 (Heber exit) to the right. Follow Hwy 40 past Jordenelle Reservoir and take a right onto River Road. (There is a stop light). Continue to Burgi lane to the round about and take the second right. When you come to a stop sign, make a left onto Homestead Drive. Zermatt is located a half mile on the right.

Accommodations
Guests at Zermatt Resort select their accommodations from the Hotel der Baer, a four-story Swiss chalet with 158 guestrooms and suites, or the Chateau Villas, 126 condominium-style units available in one, two or three-bedroom configurations. All guest rooms and suites are AAA Four–Diamond rated, ranging from 300 to 1,800 square feet with all the amenities and services to ensure a luxurious stay. Complimentary hotel parking is available.
A block of rooms is being held at the Zermatt Resort for arrival on Wednesday, September 2 and departure on Friday, September 4, 2009. You must call for reservations at 1 (866) 966-2718, to receive the special conference rate, and indicate that you are associated with the “7th Annual Rocky Mountain Geriatrics Conference". You may also extend your stay 3 days prior or following at the same group rate.
The first night stay must be guaranteed with a credit card. The room rate is the prevailing Federal Government rate of $90.00 single or $90.00 double occupancy plus $15 resort fee per night and local taxes of 12.6%. Additional rates apply for triple or quad occupancy. The cut-off date for this room block is August 3, 2009. Any reservations requested after this date will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis. Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. Check-out time is noon. Hotel cancellation policy is 14 days to arrival date and cancellation number must be obtained by guest.
