Ethics and Public Affairs: Graduate Certificate Program at the University of Utah
Are you interested in renewing or deepening your ethical commitment to your work? What about going back to school? The Certificate in Ethics and Public Affairs is an interdepartmental program administered through the Graduate School and the Philosophy and Political Science Departments at the University of Utah. The 15-credit program (four courses and a research paper) is meant to enable those who hold Bachelor's degrees to engage in graduate level work without the hassles of gaining entrance to a Master's or Ph.D. program. Without having to take the GRE, you could focus on your study in areas such as conflict resolution, health care, bioethics, human rights, education, social services, the legal system, or government. Up to 9 of the 15 hours can count toward a graduate degree. For more information, visit http://www.epa.utah.edu/, or call Dr. Luke Garrott, (801)585-3722.
