Parking & Valet Service:
You may park your car yourself or take advantage of the convenient valet service. Both options are free to visitors. Valet service operates from the main entrance of the hospital and is available from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays. If you decide to park your car, the visitor parking terrace is located at the northwest corner of the hospital entrance.
Public Transit:
The Utah Transit Authority (UTA) offers convenient trax lines and bus service to and within Salt Lake City. Route schedules and maps are available in the lobbies of the University of Utah Hospital as well as online at the UTA website.
Directions to the Interview Conference Room:
Our interviews are conducted in the Cartwright Conference Room, which is located in the School of Medicine, Room SOM 4C103.
If parking at University of Utah Hospital visitor terrace: Exit the parking garage and follow signs towards the main lobby. You will enter the building on the “A” level and will need to take the escalator up to the hospital lobby on the main floor. Turn right when you get off the escalator and enter the hallway that leads to the clinics. Walk down this hallway past the "A" elevators, and keep walking until you reach the “B” elevators. Take the “B” elevators up to the 4th floor. Turn right when you exit the elevator, and then immediately turn left down the hallway. The Cartwright Conference Room is the first door on the left in Room 4C103.
If staying at the University Guest House: You are within walking distance to the University School of Medicine. Exit left from the Guest House. At the stop sign, turn right onto 1900 East. Walk uphill towards the School of Medicine, which is a brown brick building with light green awnings over the windows and “School of Medicine” spelled out on the side of the building. As you approach the School of Medicine, there will be a drop off area in front which leads to the front doors. Enter the building through the automatic doors and turn immediately to your right. Take the "C" elevators up to the 4th floor. When you exit the elevator on the 4th floor, turn right, and then immediately turn right again. Continue down this hall a short distance until you reach the Cartwright Conference Room, #4C103, which will be on your right.
