EEG
The EEG suites at the University of Utah are the product of a new, recent expansion within our department. Five clinically dedicated outpatient rooms are staffed by equal numbers of EEG technicians. Visual, brainstem auditory, and somatosensory evoked responses are also tested at this site, as well as continuous in-patient video EEG and long-term monitoring analysis.
Epilepsy clinical appointments may take place within these suites, as well as the Epilepsy Surgery Conference. (Four in-patient video EEG monitoring rooms are located on the third floor of the University Hospital neurology ward.) The offices of our clinical epileptologists and our neurophysiology/EEG fellow are also located within these suites.
