Pediatric Movement Disorders Research Fund
We established the Pediatric Movement Disorders Research Fund at the University of Utah to help sustain our ongoing research efforts. This unrestricted fund for pediatric movement disorders research is used for our work to help advance knowledge with regard to neurotransmitter deficiency disorders, alternating hemiplegia of childhood (AHC), BridgeMar syndrome, and many as yet poorly characterized conditions with weakness, ataxia, dystonia or other movement abnormalities. These conditions include a range of other disorders which can affect the nerve or muscle, spinal cord, and/or brain. Many of these conditions are extremely difficult to diagnose and treat, and an improved understanding is necessary to help foster advances in the care and treatment of such children.
This fund is vital to our mission, and we thank all those who have contributed.
DONATE TO THE PEDIATRIC MOVEMENT DISORDERS RESEARCH FUND. You can use a credit or debit card online, or print a form to mail in with your donation. Please be sure to indicate that you want the donation to go to the PEDIATRIC MOVEMENT DISORDERS RESEARCH Fund. It is helpful if you indicate that the use of these funds for research is unrestricted, so that we can apply the funds where they are needed most!
