- Evidence-based practices
The 7 Domains of Women’s Health
Everything we do is based on our philosophy that health is not just physical health, but psychological/emotional, environmental, sociocultural, intellectual, economic, and spiritual – an approach we sum up as “The 7 Domains of Health”.
We promote these domains through information, research, education, outreach programs and clinical care. The CoE provides a great opportunity for people with similar philosophies to network and share and develop great projects together.
From 2010 – 2016, our outreach focuses on a grant from the Department of Human Services Office on Women's Health: Coalition for a Healthier Community.
We are one of 10 awardees across the country and work with a grassroots coalition, the Community Faces of Utah (CFU) to promote a healthy lifestyle intervention in five ethnic populations by training community wellness coaches with a preventive health approach.
From 2007–2009, our activities were focused on a grant from the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Women's Health: Utah Women's Health Information Network.
