Susan Sandoval Run for Ovarian Cancer

Support Erin!

Wasatch 100

Dr. Erin Clark is a Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Utah.  To support ovarian cancer research, Erin is once again running The Wasatch Front 100 Mile Endurance Run.  This 100 mile race is held September 7-8th (Friday and Saturday). The run stretches from Layton, Utah to The Homestead in Midway, Utah and traverses the Wasatch Mountain Range. There is a cumulative elevation gain of approximately 26,882 feet, as well as a cumulative loss of approximately 26,131 feet throughout the course. Erin will start at 5 am on September 7th and will end sometime on September 8th (the day of the Susan Sandoval Run for Ovarian Cancer).

Erin completed last years Wasatch 100 and in the process raised $3,980 for the Susan Sandoval Ovarian Cancer Fund. This year, Erin is attempting to complete the Wasatch 100 just 3 weeks after the Leadville 100 mile race. The Leadville 100 is a challenging high-elevation course in the midst of the Colorado Rockies with a low point of 9,200 feet and a high point of 12,600 feet. Erin has never completed two 100 milers in one calendar year, let alone one month! Can she do it? Place your bets (aka donations)- the dates are set!

Please show your support with a donation.  You may pledge an amount per mile completed, an amount if she finishes the race, or commit a donation up front just because you support Erin!  All proceeds go to the Susan Sandoval Run for Ovarian Cancer and support ovarian cancer research at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center and the Huntsman Cancer Center.
