Run for her life

Join Us for the 8th Annual Run for her life!

When: Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014
Where: Sugarhouse Park, Big Field Pavilion (distance = 1.75 miles)

An annual event named in honor of Susan Sandoval, a nurse at LDS and Primary Children’s hospitals who battled ovarian cancer, the Susan Sandoval Run for Ovarian Cancer takes place each fall in Sugarhouse Park. Beginning with 400 participants, the race continues to raise money each year that is donated to the Ovarian Cancer Education, Awareness and Research Fund, whose aim is to increase awareness of the risk factors and symptoms of gynecologic cancers and contribute to innovative research.

Participation in the race not only honors Susan Sandoval’s memory, but also the struggles of all who have been touched by gynecologic cancer. Both teams and individuals can take part in this race or make a donation. Join us in the Run for her life!
