HorwitzDr. Horwitz specializes in all aspects of general Orthopaedics with special interest in Orthopaedic trauma, including complex pelvic and acetabular fractures, intra-articular fractures and nonunions. His clinical expertise also includes treatment of multi-trauma patients, open long-bone fractures, and the late treatment of sterile and infected nonunions. Research interests include analysis of internal fixation for tibial plateau fractures, the development of bio-incorporated implants, and the role of bio-accelerants in open tibial fractures. Dr. Horwitz completed his Medical education at Washington University in St. Louis and his residency in Orthopaedics at Columbia University in New York, followed by a fellowship in trauma at the University of Utah Department of Orthopaedics.
