Dr. Klatt received his Bachelor of Science Degree Summa cum Laude in Biology from Montana State University in Bozeman, MT. He then went on to earn his Medical Doctorate from Pennsylvania State University and completed his internship through the University of Utah Surgery Program. In 2002, he began his Residency with the University of Utah Orthopedic Residency Program and continued on to a Fellowship at the  University of Utah at Primary Children's Medical Center and Shriners Hospital for Children in 2006. Dr. Klatt received the Sherman S. Coleman Scientific Research Award in 2006, as well an outstanding achievement. In June, 2008, he completed a fellowship with Starship Children’s Hospital in Aukland, New Zealand.
