Sarcoma Advanced Research and Clinical (SARC) Fellowship
The fellowship provides extensive exposure to tertiary/ quaternary sarcoma surgery. The clinical experience includes the management of the complete array of benign and malignant musculoskeletal neoplastic and pseudoneoplastic conditions. Soft-tissue and bone sarcomas are managed primarily by our service. Pediatric and adult exposure is very broad. Basic, translational, and clinical research opportunities are readily available. The Fellow will spend ½ to one day per week in our molecular biology lab gaining exposure to the latest techniques. The Fellow will also be involved with resident education, as a clinical instructor in the pathology and basic science lecture series in the Department of Orthopaedics. Applicants must have completed an accredited orthopaedic surgery residency and must be Board-eligible or –certified.
