SPECIAL EVENTS
During the academic year, there are several special events that are designed to benefit the residency. Visiting professors come each winter to spend time with the residents and staff to introduce new or diversified approaches to problems. In the spring, we invite the Bergfeld Visiting Professor of sports medicine. Each June, the department conducts the Sherman S. Coleman Scientific Session, which includes a visiting professor and research presentations from the senior residents.
Other traditional events unique to the program include a welcome dinner hosted by the Department Chairman or Program Director, annual resident boating party, golf tournament, a senior resident roast and graduation dinner. These events promote camaraderie among the residents and the staff. We are proud of our program and look forward to our interaction with you in the future.
