Future Doctors
Future Doctors, formerly named Young Doctors, was established to offer high school students a bird’s eye view of the medical profession. Initially the program was designed to simply offer a featured speaker from a medical specialty. The program drew an audience of approximately 15 students. Currently the program draws an audience of 100+ students from as far south as Provo and as far north as Ogden. The program continues to have guest speakers, but now offers a hands-on activity tied directly to the speakers’ specialty. Future Doctors takes place most every fourth Wednesday, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Contact Chris Harris at 801-585-3724 for more information.
