Welcome Tracey Lamb, PhD

The Department of Pathology is pleased to welcome Dr. Tracey Lamb, Assistant Professor to the M&I Division.
Dr. Lamb received her BS degree in Parasitology at the University of Glasgow in the UK. Following graduation, she obtained her PhD at the University of Edinburgh in the UK, which focused on immunology if filarial nematodes. Soon After, she started working at Emory University as an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Infectious Disease where she resided for approximately six years.
Dr. Lamb is now working for the University of Utah where her focus is on the study of Malaria. She currently has multiple people working in her lab who help facilitate research. She attributes her success to her two collaborators; Laurence Ayoung and Carole Edoumbou who focus on Human Malaria. After years of research, Dr. Lamb is finally reaching a breakthrough which she is thrilled about!
In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and baking. Dr. Lamb expressed her excitement for being in Utah, as well as being part of the Pathology Department. She is excited to see what the University has to offer!
