Welcome Deepika Sirohi

The Department of Pathology is pleased to welcome Deepika Sirohi, MD. Dr. Sirohi joins the faculty as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Anatomic Pathology division.
Dr. Sirohi comes to Utah from the University of California, San Francisco, where she completed a fellowship in molecular genetic pathology. Her previous academic background includes an MBBS and MD from the Armed Forces Medical College in Pune, India, residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and a fellowship in genitourinary pathology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Dr. Sirohi’s research interests include urologic oncology, viral oncogenesis, and molecular applications of oncologic pathology. She is excited about the breadth of practice available here at the University of Utah, which will allow her to apply her previous training in practice, particularly in molecular pathology.
Outside of the lab, Dr. Sirohi enjoys hiking, biking, and cooking. She is eager to get outdoors and explore Utah after taking her upcoming board examination.
