Rotations

Welcome to the Pediatric Neurology Rotation. In addition to Pediatric Neurology residents, our Division works with residents from pediatrics, medicine-pediatrics, and psychiatry programs. We also have two to three medical students per four-week clerkship block.

Residents

Residents in Med-Peds, Triple Board, Psychiatry, and Pediatrics are assigned to the outpatient neurology clinic. Adult Neurology residents are assigned to the inpatient service. See our clinical website for clinic locations and directions.

Medical Students

For the required third-year neurology clerkship, medical students are assigned to the inpatient service, where students work closely with pediatric and adult neurology residents and attendings. Contact Betsy Ostrander for clerkship rotation information.

Electives, Selectives and Away Rotations

We welcome inquiries from students and residents for elective rotations. For medical student electives, contact Jeanette Church. For resident electives or selectives, email Meghan Candee.

Rotation Resources

The rotation syllabus, readings and required assignments are on Canvas, the LMS used by the University of Utah School of Medicine. Use your uNID and password to log in. Other resources include the University of Utah Eccles Library, the PCH Medical Library and the Pediatric Neurology Division Library.
