The James R. Swenson Scientific Symposium Day
The James R. Swenson, M.D. Scientific Symposium Day is generously supported by the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Foundation.
During Spring of 2008, the Division of PM&R held the 3nd Annual James R. Swenson, M.D. Scientific Symposium. The purpose of the symposium is to encourage the research mission of the Division by highlighting recent research produced by Division faculty and residents. The Symposium also brings in external speakers on topics relevant to the Division¿s research activities.
Based on the response to the first two symposia, we think that the success and importance of the Swenson Day Symposium will only grow. During future symposia we look forward to more opportunities to showcase the Division¿s research. We are also very thankful for the opportunity to honor Dr. Swenson in this way and we hope he is pleased with us and with the further development of the Division¿s research program. The wonderful success for this symposium is due in large part to the work of Richard Kendall, D.O. who has been the Symposium organizer. Continuing education credit is available for attendance at the Symposium.
