Academic Activities
- Interested in how the brain develops during adolescence and how this development may be impacted by substance use and other experiences. In addition, many disorders have causes rooted in this developmental process. Understanding how experience influences the development of major mental illnesses is a focus of interest.
- Interested in the neurotoxic effects of substances initiated during the peri-adolescent period and the potential outcomes for both major mental illness and furture substance dependence.
