Thank you for your interest in our Diagnostic Radiology Residency Training Program at the University of Utah. As Program Director, I feel truly privileged to be associated with an outstanding residency program. We are very proud of the fact that our program has consistently received #1 national ranking over the past several years by the American Board of Radiology. Such strong endorsment by the ABR stands as a superb testament to the exceptionally high caliber of our residents.

Over the years, our department has consistently demonstrated a very strong commitment to residency education. Many of our distinguished faculty members have received both national and international recognition for their superb teaching endeavors. We are uniquely fortunate to be able to serve a widely diverse patient population from a large geographic area throughout the Intermountain West. Under the visionary leadership of our Department Chairman, Dr. Edwin Stevens, we are able to procure and maintain state-of-the-art imaging equipment which allows us to practice cutting edge radiology. Additionally, our department is extremely fortunate to be jointly affiliated with UCAIR (Utah Center for Advanced Imaging Research), which provides ample research opportunities for both residents and faculty.
