Dan Johnson.
I grew up about a mile from the University of Utah and stuck around to major in economics as an undergraduate.
I attended medical school at Duke University, where I thoroughly enjoyed the fine grits and the basketball.
We decided to come back home for internship at LDS hospital. Then I took a slight detour and spent some time working as a medical consultant in Palo Alto.
I am married and have a three year old daughter and a one year old son. When we're not chasing kids, my wife and I love to mountain bike, road bike, ski, and backpack.
Scott McNally.
I grew up in Kingsport, TN.
I completed my undergrad in math and biochemistry at UT, Knoxville.

I attended Medical school and graduate school at Emory in Atlanta, GA.

I’m married to a Finn named Liisa.
Now, I love coffee and salmiakki. I spend my winters ice fishing and skiing and spend my springs fly fishing. I play ultimate Frisbee year round.

Alex Schabel.
I was born and raised in a small town in central Wisconsin. (Except for the few years during elementary school that my family spent in Tanzania and the year during high school spent as an exchange student in Mexico and Costa Rica)
I majored in chemical engineering and chemistry at the University of Minnesota.
I attended medical school at the University of Wisconsin.
After completing a Surgical Intern year at the University of Washington in Seattle, I am settling into Salt Lake City.

Chris Harker.

Family: Married to a beautiful, wonderful Idaho farm girl Missy with two beautiful little girls, Madeline and Chloe.

Hobbies: Family, sports, skiing, Halo, and exercising at least 3 times per year.

Hometown: Fort McMurray, Alberta and Las Vegas Nevada

Internship: University of Nevada, Washoe Medical Center, Internal Medicine.
Interests: Traveling the world. Skiing, hiking and camping. Riding my bike, yoga and lifting weights.
SLC is a fun place to live with great access to skiing, hiking, concerts and great niches for food and drinks. Moreover, I love all my classmates and enjoy attending conferences with them, working as a group on rotations and celebrating time off together!

I grew up in Los Alamos, NM. The New Mexico state question is Red or green I would have to answer Green! (as in green chile for you non-New Mexicans).
I received my BS in Biochemistry from the University of Notre Dame and returned to New Mexico for medical school.
After medical school, I did a transitional year in Spokane, WA.
My radiology interests are broad, but I am particularly interested in Body and Musculoskeletal imaging.
My hobbies include music, ultimate frisbee, and the usual array of Utah outdoors activities.

4th Year Residents
Dan Corey.
I was raised in Delta, Utah. I attended Utah State University and Brigham Young University before graduating from Creighton University in 1998 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
I worked in the LA area in California for 2 years, before attending medical school at the University of Utah. I completed an internship in internal medicine at the U of U as well.
I am married to Allison with two children Timothy (6) and Paige (3). I enjoy all sports, camping, hiking, golf, and mountain biking.
Susan Harlan.
I was born and raised in the Sanfrancisco Bay Area and went to medical school at UCSF.
I am married to Greg, a pediatric hospitalist at Primary Childrens Medical Center. I have a son Ty, born in October 2005. Before Ty, I spent a lot of time traveling to cool places like China, skiing, and riding my bike. I still love those things, but life these days is a little different.
Rob Hastings.
I grew up in a Waimea on the Big Island of Hawaii. It seemed like a good idea to come to the mainland for college.
I studied chemistry at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. I then attended medical school at Creighton in Omaha, Nebraska.
I did my internship here (at the University of Utah) in internal medicine and I am planning on doing a Fellowship in MSK.
I have four kids and enjoy hiking, biking, and skiing in my free time.

Lauren Zollinger.
I grew up all over the western united states; Idaho, Oregon, California, and Utah. But I currently identify myself as a Utahn.
I went to the University of Utah (U of U) for undergraduate education, where I received a B.S. in Psychology. I then went on to get a Masters in Public Health at the U of U’s School of Medicine. Followed by medical school at the Uof U’s School of Medicine.
I completed my internship year with the University of Utah School of Medicine Department of Internal Medicine. And, I am currently completing my Radiology Residency here as well!
My husband and I enjoy all outdoor activities, and most weekends we are either cycling, mountain biking, or skiing depending on the weather.
My professional interests include Neuroradiology and Body Imaging.
