Department of Radiology
Serving people from across the state and Mountain West, the Department of Radiology at University of Utah Health offers every clinical imaging subspecialty and provides the most advanced, state-of-the-art technology available to diagnose and treat disease. Our highly skilled team of radiologists, nurses, and technologists perform nearly half a million procedures and studies each year.
Our department boasts 50 board-certified, sub-specialist radiologists who are full-time MD and MD/PhD faculty. They have expertise in body, neuro, musculoskeletal, chest, cardiac, breast and women’s imaging, and more. We have an additional 40 adjunct clinical faculty, bringing our clinical workforce to a total of 90 MDs. Patients can feel assured that when they visit our world-renowned department they are being attended to by some of the most skilled radiologists anywhere.
