Making an Appointment
Most of our appointments are by physician referral. If you would like to be seen by a University of Utah Radiation Oncologist discuss the possibility with your current doctor or your health insurance provider.
If you would like to make a first-time appointment and do not have a referral, please call us at (801) 581-2396 or toll free at (800) 824-2073. Our expert staff will assist you in making that appointment.

Huntsman Cancer Hospital is located at the northeast corner of the University of Utah campus, just east of University Hospital.
We encourage our patients and family members to use our free valet service. This service is available from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the front door of the hospital. Free parking for patients and visitors is also available in the Huntsman Cancer Institute's parking terrace.
Once you enter the hospital you will find the Department of Radiation Oncology on the first floor, and to the west of the elevators. If you have questions please ask the attendant in the lobby.

The facility has six infusion stations and a state-of-the-art linear accelerator used to precisely target external-beam radiation treatments that destroy cancer cells. For patient convenience, the Huntsman Cancer Institute at the South Jordan Health Center also has its own entrance.
