RMCOEH outreach to the community includes invited lectures, site visits, consultation, community and professional committee participation, peer review activities, and sponsorship of educational activities.

Areas of particular faculty expertise for which lectures are already prepared include:

  • ACOEM practice guidelines.
  • Commercial driver medical examinations (dot exams).
  • Environmental health.
  • Ergonomics.
  • Impairment and disability.
  • Musculoskeletal disorders.
  • Regulatory compliance.
  • Toxicology.
  • Workers’ compensation.

Faculty can present on new topics or prepare short courses upon request. Most faculty do not charge for one hour of lecture time performed locally for which there is no registration fee. Short courses are provided for a nominal fee.
