Office of Student Affairs
The mission of the Office of Student Affairs at the University of Utah School of Medicine is to support and enhance the quality of student life, from matriculation to graduation, to ensure successful professional development.
Staff members in Student Affairs, under the direction of the Associate Dean Dr. Edward Junkins, look forward to meeting the needs of its students, and will happily provide a variety of services, including academic scheduling and record tracking, physical and mental wellness, financial aid, career counseling, residency preparation and professional development. In meeting student needs, the Office of Student Affairs oversees school-sponsored events such as Orientation, White Coat Ceremony, Career Day, Match Day Celebration and Graduation.
