School of Medicine Supplemental Application for Scholarships and Loans

In order to be considered for scholarships and private loans available through the School of Medicine, students must complete the Supplemental Application by March 15th.

Filing Deadlines

2016-2017 Financial Aid Processing On-Time File Completion Date is March 1st. The On-Time File Completion Date for need-based financial aid is March 1st (formerly known as Priority filing) of the calendar year prior to the academic year for which you want aid. (Example: For aid during the 2016-2017 academic year, one must have a complete file by March 1, 2016).

A complete file has no incomplete checklist items (no missing information), as determined by the University Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid. Please allow for an average processing time of 2-3 weeks.

Late FAFSA applications are accepted and considered, depending on adequate funding and processing time. Most aid programs have limited funding; applicants who have a complete file by the on-time file completion date are considered first for such aid.

Some forms of financial aid are available year-round. Applications can take time to process and must be sent to the federal processor at least 120 days before the beginning of the semester if financial aid is to be available for tuition deadlines.
