Improving Care for Children with Asthma
Project Overview:
In April 2006, eleven primary care practice teams in Utah participated in a Learning Collaborative to improve the care they provide to children with asthma. Practices learned how to implement proven strategies to help patients reduce and prevent asthma symptoms, maintain normal activity levels, optimize pharmacotherapy, and satisfy the patient's and family's expectations regarding asthma care.
