Dr. Talmage Egan Invited as Visiting Professor at University of Minnesota Anesthesiology Grand Rounds
The Department of Anesthesiology is proud to share that Dr. Talmage Egan, Professor and Chair, was invited to serve as a Visiting Professor for the University of Minnesota’s Department of Anesthesiology Grand Rounds in October.
Dr. Egan delivered a lecture titled “TIVA: Theoretical & Practical Considerations,” offering insight into both the science and clinical application of total intravenous anesthesia. His presentation highlighted emerging approaches, evolving best practices, and key considerations for optimizing patient care.
Dr. Egan emphasized that these opportunities are a two-way street.
“It’s always an honor to connect with colleagues at other institutions,” he shared. “We learn just as much from these interactions as we offer, and those shared insights ultimately strengthen care for all patients.”
