About Me
Background: Maddie Bunnell, MPH, is a Clinical Research Coordinator in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Utah. She earned her undergraduate degree in Nutritional Sciences from Penn State University and began her research career in 2018 within a Nutrition PhD program. After refining her academic focus, she completed a Master of Public Health at Utah State University in 2022. Following graduate school, Maddie explored several career paths before discovering a strong interest in medicine—particularly anesthesiology. She is passionate about advancing clinical research and expanding her experience within the clinical environment.
Responsibilities: Maddie supports multiple departmental research initiatives, with a primary focus on the THRIVE study. She assists with study coordination, management, and data collection across a range of ongoing clinical research projects.
