Letter of Support

The University of Utah is the home of the Utah Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS), which is an established member of the Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) program. The CTSA program creates a definable academic home for clinical and translational research. As a member, the CCTS works to transform the local, regional, and national environment to increase the efficiency and speed of clinical and translational research across the country. Furthermore, the Utah CCTS provides investigators unique, institutional resources and established infrastructure that can enhance and strengthen your proposal.

A letter of support from Utah CCTS leaders can be used to convey more than just an endorsement of the proposal. These letters can reinforce attributes of the proposed work, team of investigators, mentorship, and institutional resources/leadership. By emailing Rebekah Hendon (rebekah.hendon@utah.edu) to request this service, you will be contacted shortly for a draft letter of support in Word format. We strongly recommend that the letter is customized to your specific proposal and unique to other letters of support you may be submitting in your application. With the draft letter, please also send a detailed budget that includes the cost of the CCTS services requested.
