Community Faces of Utah
Community Faces of Utah improves the health of Utah’s families and communities by working with local organizations, including the Utah Department of Health.
Salt Lake Interfaith Roundtable
The Salt Lake Interfaith Roundtable facilitates interfaith respect, understanding, and appreciation; and increases understanding through interfaith dialogue and building interfaith collaboration.
Alzheimer’s Association Utah Chapter
The Alzheimer’s Association is the leading health organization in Alzheimer’s support and research. They’re also the largest nonprofit funder of Alzheimer’s research.
Alliance Community Services
Alliance Community Services is a non-profit organization that promotes cultural awareness and advocacy for issues that affect Utah’s minority communities. Their mission is to improve health and quality of life for Utah’s Hispanic community.
Utah Center for Clinical & Translational Science
The CCTS is the home for clinical and translational science in our institutions, the state of Utah, and within the Mountain West Region. It builds on our strengths in genetics and bioinformatics to translate promising bench science into practices that improve human health.
The center serves as an academic home for clinical and translational research, developing innovative health services for the community and health researchers, and training a new generation of clinical and translational investigators.
Four foundations of discovery compose the center:
- Clinical Trials Support,
- Population Health,
- Precision Medicine, and
- Workforce Development.
These foundations provide support for T1 to T4 research.
Utah Health Policy Project
The Utah Health Policy Project promotes sustainable health care solutions for underserved Utahns through education and public policy. They are a nonprofit organization.
Intermountain Healthcare is a Utah-based, not-for-profit system of 22 hospitals, a Medical Group with more than 1,600 physicians and advanced practice clinicians at about 180 clinics, a health plans division called SelectHealth, and other health services. Helping people live the healthiest lives possible, Intermountain is widely recognized as a leader in clinical quality improvement and in efficient healthcare delivery.
At Intermountain, we are investing in research that will have a rapid impact on care delivery performance, focused on achieving the best medical result at the lowest necessary cost. Intermountain’s research uses our model healthcare system to advance clinical investigation and improve patient outcomes and healthcare quality through innovation, discovery and implementation science.
